Mental Health School Winners See “Hope for the Future”

 Monaghan Mental Health Association announced the winners of its Post Primary Art Project last week at a ceremony in the Westenra Hotel. This year’s theme which was “Hope for the Future” resulted in some very thoughtful and outstanding entries from Colaiste Oiriall, Inver College, Castleblayney College and St Louis Convent.

Mental Health Development Officer Sean Mc Kiernan who was MC for the night began by introducing members of the local mental health association before Chairperson Margaret Fleming made the presentations.

Merit Winners were:

Colaiste Oiriall: Aoife Ni Roideain,  Sarah Nic Thighearnan

Inver College: Adeane Kindlon, Klaudia Dabrowska

Castleblayney College: Therese Donaghy, Megan O Dwyer

St Louis Convent: Aoife Evans, Rebecca Fanning    

Monaghan Collegiate: Cheryl Roundtree, Lauren Nolan.
